Professor Brian Cox Tickets

Na zijn razend populaire show Horizons, die wereldwijd bijna een half miljoen bezoekers trok, keert Professor Brian Cox terug met zijn nieuwste show ‘Emergence’.

Op 1 april 2026 staat de Britse fysicaprofessor in het Koninklijk Circus in Brussel.

Brian Cox is een Britse natuurkundige en hoogleraar in Manchester. Hij verwierf internationale bekendheid door zijn werk bij CERN (the European Organization of Nuclear Research) en zijn populaire tv-documentaires, waaronder ‘Wonders of the Universe’. De voorbije 15 jaar werkte hij mee aan vele toonaangevende wetenschapsprogramma’s voor BBC-radio en -televisie, van het met een Peabody Award bekroonde ‘Wonders of the Solar System’ (momenteel te zien op Canvas) tot de wereldwijde hitserie ‘The Planets’.

In Brussel presenteert Cox ‘Emergence’: een meeslepende reis door 400 jaar wetenschappelijke ontdekkingen. Hoe is het mogelijk dat een soort mensapen van een kwart miljoen jaar oud, levend op een kleine planeet rond een doorsneester, zoveel heeft kunnen leren over de kosmos?

Brian over ‘Emergence’: “I’ve loved creating Emergence - it’s the most ambitious live show I’ve ever written. I’ve been very lucky to collaborate with a wonderful group of scientists, musicians, film makers and graphic artists to bring cosmology, biology, philosophy and history to the largest and most advanced LED screens available, with the best sound and lights I could find. I hope the show is an all-encompassing experience, and I hope it leaves everyone, whether they love science or music or history, or simply contemplating the beauty of Nature, with something new to think about.”
