PATTI SMITH & BAND PERFORM HORSES – 50th ANNIVERSERY OP WOENSDAG 15 EN DONDERDAG 16 OKTOBER 2025 IN HET KONINKLIJK CIRCUS, BRUSSEL!

50 jaar “Horses”! Hét moment voor Patti Smith om opnieuw op tournee te trekken ter gelegenheid van de 50ste verjaardag van haar iconische debuutalbum. Om het feest extra in de verf te zetten kondigt de rocklegende niet één, maar twee prestigieuze concertdata aan voor haar Belgische fans waarbij ze het album ‘Horses’ integraal brengt! Patti Smith houdt samen met haar band halt in het Koninklijk Circus in Brussel op woensdag 15 en donderdag 16 oktober 2025 voor twee must-see concerten tijdens een afspraak met de muziekgeschiedenis.

 

Naast haar werk als muzikant en zangeres is Patti Smith ook bekend als dichteres, schilderes en fotografe. Bovenal blijft ze een van de creatieve pijlers van de punk en een van de zeldzame figuren die rock’n’roll belichaamt in haar meest kostbare vorm. ‘Hey Joe’, ‘Gloria’, ‘Because The Night’, ‘People Got The Power’ zijn allemaal tijdloze nummers die opstandigheid ademen en de vooropgelegde regels in vraag stellen. Haar werk blijft verbazingwekkend modern en elk van haar liveoptredens zijn onthutsend krachtig.

Vandaag bereidt ze zich met haar band voor op een eerbetoon aan een van de belangrijkste albums uit haar carrière, ‘Horses’. Het in 1975 uitgebrachte, baanbrekende werk in de geschiedenis van de internationale rock blijft met onverbiddelijke nauwkeurigheid resoneren en vormt een ultieme referentie voor generaties artiesten en muzikanten.

 

Patti Smith speelt ‘Horses’ integraal op 15 en 16 oktober 2025 in het Koninklijk Circus in Brussel. Twee niet te missen rockavonden.
