About Nadine

After more than 20 years NADINE is a brand that stands for quality, inspiration, energy, style and motivation. The youngster surprised young and old with “Krappies & Krefies” when she was only 13. Five years later she recorded the legendary “Kaapse Draai”, a song that became an evergreen hit in the Afrikaans music industry. More hits and successful albums of the teenage superstar followed. In 2008 international doors opened with a massive “This Time I Know” album that was recorded in Sweden and released in Germany, China, South Africa and worldwide via iTunes! Nádine is the first South African to win the annual World Peace Song Festival with the title track of the album when she beat Coldplay and Ladyhawke in 2010.

Her stunning live performances quickly caused a buzz, also in theatre... Early 2012 Nádine was nominated for the South African Theatre awards as the leading lady Mary Magdalene in “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Shortly after she had the lead role in the Afrikaans musical "Lied van my hart", followed by her performance as title character in "Snow White” and recently a superb role in "Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat" that toured internationally. Inspired by top performances at the biggest South African music festivals, "Innibos" and “KKNK”, international shows as well as the amazing "Skouspel" productions, Nádine recorded two brand new amazing albums. One for her home market, “Skildery” in Afrikaans, as well as an English album, recorded in London, made to surprise nations all over the world. Both are pop albums with a touch of rock and a flavour of electro!

Nádine took the chart position in the Afrikaans music again with “Skildery” which reached the #1 position on every radio station nationwide. The album was nominated for two South African GHOEMA awards! She was also awarded the Red Carpet Glamour Celebrity of the classy Afrikaans magazine SARIE and her album “Skildery” was nominated for a SAMA (South African Music Awards). In between her music career she is the presenter of the tv show “Musiek Roulette”, that aired on national television in prime time slot on SABC2.

Latest highlight is Nadine's performance at the international pop festival "Yesterdayland" in Belgium. Thousands of people enjoyed the "Ladies of Pop show" she created. Bringing the biggest hit songs of the biggest female voices ever, in an own Nádine version, with her own live band. With sales of 500.000 albums, more than 50 concerts a year, around 80.000 likes on Facebook, NADINE is an established brand in her home country.
