Na 4 jaar afwezigheid keert Gilbert O’Sullivan op woensdag 19 oktober terug naar België voor een eenmalig concert in Kursaal Oostende.

De legendarische singer-songwriter, bekend van zijn hits ‘Alone Again’, 'Clair’ en ‘Nothing Rhymed’, bracht onlangs een nieuw album uit. Met zijn solovoorstelling ‘Just Gilbert’ zal hij zowel oude en nieuwe hits in een intieme setting brengen.

De Ierse Engelsman uit Waterford wist vooral in dejaren 70 hit na hit te scoren. Zo zullen er vele albums te vinden zijn in moeders platenkast. Het was in die tijd al een populaire man onder het vrouwelijk publiek. Op zijn laatste album uit 2018 horen we de echte Pianoman nog steeds achter zijn toetsen de sterren van de hemel zingen. Het album bereikte de top 20 in de UK en kreeg wereldwijd lovende kritieken.

In 2022 tourt O’Sullivan in de VS, Japan, Noorwegen en Nederland en daar komt nu ook Belgie bij.
