2017 marks The National’s glorious return, with a new album and a new tour coming up! The tour is set to lead the Brooklyn based band to Belgium again, for two impressive concerts. The National will be on stage at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels on October 30th and 31st!
It was 2013 when we last heard from frontman Matt Berninger and brothers Aaron (guitar, bass, piano) and Bryce Dessner (guitar) and Scott (bass, guitar) and Bryan Devendorf (drums). With ‘Trouble Will Find Me’, they released an outstanding album at the time, confirming their status as one of indie rock’s international figureheads.
With ‘The National’ (2001), ‘Sad Songs For Dirty Lovers’ (2003), ‘Alligator’ (2005), the heavenly ‘Boxer’ (2007) and the magnificent ‘High Violet’ (2010), the band had already penned together an incredibly impressive discography. On stage, they commit to baffling their audience with a charming and passionate show time and time again.
Celebrating their comeback and the long-awaited release of a new LP – entitled ‘Sleep Well Beast’ – The National are treating their Belgian fans to two concerts at the majestic Henry Le Boeuf hall at the Centre of Fine Arts in Brussels. Two essential opportunities to get sucked head over heels into their dark and captivating fantasy world.
